Neil Snow

Michigan's second All-American, played end and fullback, chosen by Caspar Whitney at the end position on his 1901 All-American team. Captain of the 1900 team and starting fullback for the 1901 squad that climaxed an undefeated season under rookie coach Fielding Yost with a 49-0 victory of over Stanford in the first Tournament of Roses game, January 1, 1902. Snow rushed for 107 and scored five touchdowns in the game. Chosen All Western end four seasons, 1898-1901. He was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1959 and is also a member of the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame.

Snow earned ten letters in Michigan football (4), baseball (4) and track (2). He played left field on two Big 9 championship baseball teams and won the conference high jump title in 1901 with leap of 5 feet 9.75 inches.

After graduating from the College of Literature, Science and Arts in 1902, Snow turned down numerous lucrative coaching offers from high schools and colleges and entered business in Detroit. He was president and general manager of the Detroit Twist Drill Company at the time of his death in 1914 at the age of 34.
