Curly Morrison

Fred "Curly" Morrison, is a former Browns and Ohio State fullback. He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management. At Ohio State he received All-American honors and was selected MVP in their victory.

Morrison played six years in the NFL, starting with the Chicago Bears in 1951, when he was the team's No. 1 draft choice. He was with the Browns when they won NFL championships in 1954 and 1955. He led the team in rushing with 824 yards in 1955.

In 1993, Mr. Morrison was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He is co-author of The Strategy of Pro Football, published in 1965. Mr. Morrison was the principle broker in the sale of the Cleveland Browns to Art Modell.

Currently Mr. Morrison serves as Vice President, National Sales Director for Sentra Spelman Securities, with over two hundred branch offices located in all fifty states. He is responsible for the sale and marketing of all investment products, including mutual funds, traditional and variable insurance products, fixed and variable annuities, as well as real estate investment trusts and unit investment trusts.

Mr. Morrison is chairman of the annual NFL Legend's Tournament at Pebble Beach, which supports youth organizations and other charitable causes in the Monterey County area.
